Hi everyone, I’m Ben.
Before I started NIPLIFE, I was an IT engineer in Fukuoka, Japan. Back then, my world was basically made of endless lines of code and the lonely glow of streetlights at 2 AM.
If you’re a heavy glasses wearer like me, you know that feeling—that throbbing, dry ache behind your eyes after a long day. I remember shutting down my monitor at midnight, rubbing my eyes until they were sore, trying to find those pressure points just to get some relief. Then, I’d drag my tired body home through the empty streets. It was exhausting.
To be honest, I tried "self-medicating" with a top-selling eye massager from Amazon. It helped a little, but as an engineer obsessed with details, it was far from perfect. So, I decided to build something that could actually "save" me.
1. Silence is the ultimate respectMost massagers on the market vibrate. But I realized that a buzzing motor right next to your ear is the opposite of relaxing—it’s like having a tiny drill tapping at your temple. So, I made a bold choice: I ditched the vibration entirely.
Instead, I worked with top-tier manufacturers to develop a multi-airbag system. It’s nearly silent. It targets your pressure points—like the Jingming and Taiyang—with precision. I wanted a ritual that leads you to deep sleep, not something that keeps you awake with noise.2. The "Warm Towel" Comfort
When you’re staring at screens all day, the circulation around your eyes just... stalls. Our heat compress isn't just about "getting warm." We tuned it to feel exactly like a freshly wrung warm towel placed gently over your eyes. The moment you close them, you can feel the day’s stress slowly melting away as the warmth seeps in.
3. That "Weightless" MomentI’ve tried almost every massager out there, and most of them feel like they’re just "touching" your skin, not actually massaging it. To fix this, I designed a Dual-Layer Airbag system.
provides that gentle, snug wrap.
does the deep, rhythmic kneading.
The best part? It’s the moment the pressure releases after a high-tension knead. You get this incredible sensation of "weightlessness." It’s as if your tightened nerves have finally been set free, and for a second, you’re just falling into a soft cloud.
4. No Compromises on TouchI’m a perfectionist when it comes to materials. Knowing how humid it gets here in Southeast Asia, I refused to use ordinary fabric that traps bacteria or mold. I chose Premium Protein Leather. It’s soft, it breathes, and it’s incredibly easy to wipe clean. I even used a matte, soft-touch finish for the exterior so that it feels premium from the very first touch.
I’ll be honest: I created this for a very selfish reason. I wanted to give the person I used to be—someone stuck in high-pressure loops—a moment of peace.
I can finally give this version a perfect score. It’s my proudest work, and I truly hope it becomes your "personal therapist" too.
